What QuotaGrid does

QuotaGrid is a free quota matrix builder. You enter study parameters (sample size, demographic dimensions, proportions) and the tool calculates interlocking or independent quota cell counts.

Data we collect

None. QuotaGrid runs entirely in your browser. Your study parameters, dimension names, category names, and proportions never leave your device.

• No data is sent to any server
• No cookies are set
• No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded
• No account or registration is required

Local storage

QuotaGrid stores one item in your browser's local storage: your dark/light theme preference. No study data is stored locally.

URL sharing

When you use the "Copy share link" feature, your quota spec is encoded into the URL hash (the part after the # symbol). This data stays in the URL — it is not sent to any server. Anyone with the link can see the encoded spec.

Third-party services

QuotaGrid loads Google Fonts (Fraunces, Instrument Sans, JetBrains Mono) from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests per their privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.

Future changes

A future version may add optional AI-powered feasibility commentary. If added, that feature will send quota matrix data to a server for processing. This privacy policy will be updated before any such change, and the feature will be clearly labeled.
